Better than splendour and wealth​
How much better to get wisdom than gold,
to get insight rather than silver!  Proverbs 16:16 - NIV
This verse is a reminder to us all that the accumulation of wisdom and understanding will make us much richer than any material wealth we might accrue in our lives can ever do. Wisdom and understanding will guide our thoughts and our actions and, ultimately, lead us to be more Christlike in character. Such wealth is lasting and not fleeting. Today, let's pray for God's spirit to come and aid us in our spiritual growth. Revd Steve
